In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 80th Birthday celebration, the Mukim Liang Consultative Council on 3rd July morning held the Flag Hoisting Ceremony.

The national flag was handed over by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Othman, Member of the Legislative Council. This was followed by the flag hoisting accompanied by the National Anthem. The ceremony aimed to further enliven the Royal Birthday Celebration.
